Bosnia and Hercegovina has joined the Carnet ATA system as its 70th member. From the 18th of April 2011, goods can be temporarily admitted under the Carnet ATA for the following uses: Professional equipment, exhibition and display articles, samples, packaging, articles for personal use, living animals, articles for manufacturing processes, for teaching, cultural, sporting, humanitarian and scientific purposes.
The import and export of goods under the Carnet ATA may only be transported via the following Customs border crossings:
On the Serbian border: Raca, Pavlovica Most, Karakaj, Vardiste, Uvac, Ustibar; the train stations at Bijeljina and Zvornik;
On the Croatian border: Brcko, Orasje, Samac, Gradiska, Izacic, Kamensko, Gorica, Doljani, Brod, Hukica Brdo, Strmica, Novi Grad; the train stations at Brcko, Samac, Dobrljin, Martin Brod and Capljina;
On the border with Montenegro:
Hum, Klobuk, Deleusa Metaljka;
Airports: Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, Tuzla.
In Bosnien und Herzegowina, the Carnet ATA from the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Vanjskotrgovinska/Spoljnotrgovinska Komora BiH) will be on exhibit in the cities of Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar and Tuzla.
