According to a study carried out by the Federal Office for Freight, Transportation and Traffic, the logistics branch urgently requires new blood. This development can be traced back to the lack of professional staff, and the age structure of the current personnel in the transportation sector.

With this announcement from the second cyclical report on the labour market situation, which was published by the Federal Office for Freight Transport (BAG), the Federation representatives are asking the sector for an added effort in the training of young trainees, in particular in the haulage industry sector.
