Part loads refer to several part loads which are grouped together and transported on a means of transport.

Part loads refer to deliveries which are not transhipped by a sender, due to their size or relevant instructions, but which do not completely fill the freight space of the means of transport. Accordingly, a part load is transported with other part loads or also together with consolidated freight.

In this context, part loads are to be assessed differently in terms of logistics to full loads. Part loads generally have a longer delivery period and a higher freight rate.
